Year: 2020. Posted 24 January, 2023. After a cold start this morning my yellow ECU light was flashing on my dash for around 5 to 10 seconds during idle, then went off. I've stopped and started my car 4 times since, all good with no light. When I arrived back home I checked my engine with my cheap plug and play code reader, no codes stored.
Move off, no problem, but decide to pull over at the earliest opportunity and do my own stop-start (i.e., turn the car on and off again). Car starts normally, EPC light is on for a few seconds, then goes off. I drive off, pull up again and try the stop-start system. It works normally.
